Lilac Festival 2002

We sat through the Lilac Festival for a bit, then wandered off to the flowers -- there's an absolutely overwhelming spot where a curved slope catches the prevailing wind, filters it through 1200 lilacs, and the collects it at the top of the hill. Somewhat like the soap aisle in Wegmans, but all-natural.

One on one, though, there's little to compare to these fine examples of candy for the nose and eyes!
