Wisteria

This utility-pole wisteria reminded me a lot of Aunt Diane's wisteria down at Canandaigua, which is the root of my love of the plant! It's located directly across the street from the Pittsford library, which has been rebuilt on the same spot in a very usable fashion.

And this is our own wisteria, started just a few years ago as a li'l sprig, giving its most impressive show to date; the scent is tremendous!

Auntie D. told me a few years ago that she was well aware of the delicious scent of her wisteria from within the apartment above the garage -- I think she even said that she'd planted it there for just that reason, but that may be simply my love of a good story at work. :*) Posted by Picasa

LOVE your wisteria! Can you incorporate the scent?

I don't recall fragrance of Cdga Wisteria at all; isn't that odd?
